The FENDI sisters they were born and raised in Rome, breathing in the smell of leather and the expensive perfumes of the aristocratic and somewhat snobbish customers in the shop on Via Plebiscito.
The boutique that only for matters of the heart (always them!!!) does not become famous with the name Casagrande.
In fact, it was opened by mother Adele who renamed it Fendi only in 1925, after marrying father Edoardo.
The activity has been synonymous with artisanal excellence and refinement from the very beginning but it is with the arrival of the eldest daughter, the 15-year-old Paola, that it really begins to grow.
In 1945, upon Edoardo's death, the 4 sisters also followed her and this is how the tale began.
Paola the Elegant, Anna the Strategist, Franca the Romantic, Carla the philanthropist, Alda the Artist.
Each one unique, each one special, so EXTRAORDINARY individually that they become UNBEATABLE together.
Women, Daughters, Mothers, Wives, Sisters capable of uniting Family and Work with love and professionalism like no other fashion dynasty before or after them.
The "Greta Garbo di Vanità" of opulent and luxurious Rome first and then of the whole world are very good at making ragù and phenomenal in dressing fur.

Telling about Paola's genius, Anna's modernity, Carla's culture, Franca's incredible love story and Alda's poetry would be impossible

But what is absolutely possible to tell is the heritage (and not just material) that the 5 Wonder Women have left to Sylvia , daughter of Anna, born Venturini and raised Venturini Fendi.
From the little girl who called "Uncle" King Lagerfeld we could not expect anything less than all the wonders she has done, not least, the lucky liaison with Kim Jones : the British designer, already known at Vuitton and Dior, who signed the latest Spring-Summer 2021 Collection that came out on the catwalk a few days ago and has already been applauded as a success.
It goes without saying that Silvia's daughters (oh yes, effeminate females too!) have already proved to be worthy heirs of mothers and aunts, added values of the company between accessories and jewellery.
But that's already another story...
